Event rules · 7 November 2026

Read these rules before joining. Each riddle remains locked until its scheduled release. Eligible members can find their hunts in My Hunts; one-time entrants can check Single Hunt Pass availability. The event listing shows current booking and hunt status.

1. Organiser and contact

SeekSweep is operated by PROJECT REGERA AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, ABN 56 669 185 675. Public contact location: Parramatta NSW 2151. For eligibility, access, claims, accessibility arrangements or complaints, email seeksweep@hotmail.com.

2. Schedule and prizes

The hunts open separately on Saturday 7 November 2026, between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm Sydney time (AEDT, UTC+11). Each riddle releases at its listed start. Each hunt ends when its prize is validly found and confirmed, or at its listed finish, whichever comes first. There is one prize per hunt.

No hunt operates during the host’s transfers: 7:20–7:40 pm and 8:00–8:35 pm. Players arrange their own travel. A claimed prize does not bring the next hunt’s release forward. If the host is delayed, the host will pause the affected hunt and announce a revised start.

The gift-card prize is The Perfect Gift Card eftpos prepaid with AUD $500 available value at handover, not cash or wallet credit. It is used in person at accepting Australian eftpos merchants, at the merchant’s discretion; online purchases and cash withdrawals are excluded. The issuer lists a three-year expiry from activation for cards activated from 31 March 2018. The card’s actual expiry and redemption details will be supplied with the prize. See the issuer’s conditions and FAQ. The PS5 is the advertised 825GB Digital Edition. The Pokémon prize is the advertised 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box shown in the prize listing.

Payment does not guarantee a prize. Prizes are not redeemable for cash by choice. If an advertised prize cannot be supplied, SeekSweep will disclose the problem and provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law. Product references do not imply manufacturer sponsorship.

3. Who can participate

Entrants must be NSW residents aged 18 or over, use their own SeekSweep account and have the required paid access when solving and physically finding the prize. Staff who organise or place prizes, anyone with advance knowledge of answers or placement, and their immediate families cannot win. Launch-list signup alone does not provide access.

Seeker members can enter the gift-card and Pokémon hunts. Elite members can enter all three. Memberships are currently AUD $19 per month for Seeker and AUD $49 per month for Elite, billed until cancelled under the membership terms. Eligible members pay no additional event fee. Payment level does not give an earlier riddle release within an eligible hunt.

A Single Hunt Pass costs AUD $29 once for one named gift-card or Pokémon hunt. It does not include other hunts, the PS5, recurring membership or a guaranteed win. Pass bookings close 30 minutes before the named start: 7:10 pm for the gift card and 8:05 pm for Pokémon. Book the named event through the Single Hunt Pass page while bookings are open. Any eligible welcome discount is shown before payment.

Access cannot be shared or transferred. Friends may accompany an entrant where public access allows but cannot solve or collect on their behalf. The host may reasonably verify identity, age, NSW residency and current access. An unlocked screen or screenshot alone is not proof of eligibility.

4. Solve the riddle to unlock the location

  1. Open the eligible live hunt on your own account. Before solving, the map shows only a general-area pin.
  2. Read the riddle and enter your answer in the app. The server checks the answer against the accepted answer list fixed before release. Capitalisation, punctuation, accents and repeated spaces are ignored.
  3. A wrong answer leaves the prize location hidden. Each account can check up to five answers per hunt per minute; the app shows any wait before retrying.
  4. A correct answer saves an unlock to your account and reveals the hidden-prize pin, directions and collection instructions.
  5. Go to that spot and physically find the prize before the hunt closes. Show your unlocked hunt to the host before collecting.

Solving is necessary but does not reserve or win the prize. Every eligible solver can unlock it while the hunt remains open. GPS and camera guidance are optional. Visiting a pin, arriving in the general area or uploading a photo without a valid physical find does not win.

Work independently. Do not share answers or revealed locations, use automated guessing or AI to solve the riddle, use multiple accounts to bypass limits, tamper with the app, or use insider information. Equivalent answer variants are fixed before release. If a genuinely valid answer was omitted, pause the hunt and record a fair correction; do not privately change the standard for one entrant.

5. Winner: first eligible solver to physically find it

The first eligible entrant who has already solved the riddle on their own account and then physically locates the designated prize wins, subject to verification. The host observes the find and checks the account’s recorded unlock and access before handover. The prize is supervised; do not grab it from another person.

There are no scorecards, creative-writing tasks or points. Correct-answer time alone does not award the prize. Photo-upload order does not decide who physically found it first. A participant who reaches the site without first unlocking the riddle cannot claim it.

If two eligible solvers genuinely locate the prize together and the host cannot establish the physical order from reliable evidence, the earlier server-recorded correct answer takes priority. If those times also tie, both receive the same fresh riddle at the same time; the first independently submitted correct answer wins. Repeat with a fresh riddle if the order is still indistinguishable. No random draw resolves a tie.

The host records the find time, account, eligibility check and decision. A valid find closes that hunt. One entrant may win more than one hunt if eligible and first under these rules each time. If nobody qualifies before the finish, the host removes the prize and retains it for a separately announced activity.

6. Claim verification and handover

After physically finding the prize and checking with the host, submit a clear photo using “I physically found it” and explain where you found it. Your account must have a recorded riddle unlock to submit. The host confirms the physical find; photo submission alone is not approval. Once verified, the app marks the prize claimed and records it in the winner’s account.

Keep gift-card numbers and activation details out of photos. If the app fails or closes before upload, tell the host immediately so the actual find and account can be recorded, then email the evidence. A genuine recorded find is not lost solely because of an upload failure.

Normally the verified winner receives the physical prize on site. If further eligibility checks or a dispute are needed, the host keeps the prize, records what evidence is required and gives the provisional finder seven days to respond. SeekSweep confirms its decision within five business days after receiving the required evidence and arranges free collection or delivery within 14 days of confirmation. No further purchase or membership renewal is required to receive a validly earned prize.

An ineligible claim does not win. The next eligible physical find supported by the host’s records may qualify under the same rules; otherwise the prize remains unclaimed. Record any unresolved matter and keep the prize secure while the next scheduled hunt proceeds.

7. Safe and fair participation

Walk, give way to the public and follow lawful directions. Do not run into traffic, drive while using the hunt, push, threaten, obstruct others or snatch a prize. Keep public paths and emergency access clear. Stay in open public areas.

No prize requires trespassing, climbing, digging, searching garden beds, moving street furniture, entering water, crossing barriers, or entering closed, ticketed or backstage areas. Prizes are at temporary SeekSweep stations with a nearby host. If access is blocked, stop and contact the host.

Plan for evening visibility, weather and walking conditions. Contact SeekSweep before the event about access needs. A substantiated breach may result in disqualification, with the reason recorded and a right to raise a complaint. Failure to win alone is not misconduct.

8. Interruptions, cancellations and refunds

SeekSweep may pause, relocate or cancel a hunt where conditions, crowding, closures, loss of access or technical failure prevent safe or fair delivery. Affected players will receive an update where practicable. Material changes to date, location, access, prize or winning criteria will be disclosed and cannot retrospectively invalidate a valid find.

No refunds for change of mind, non-attendance, late arrival or not winning where the advertised service was properly supplied. This policy does not exclude refunds or other remedies required by the Australian Consumer Law.

If an event is cancelled, materially changed, not supplied as promised or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee, remedies required by law remain available. An alternative date or credit will not replace a refund where a refund is legally required. Membership remedies depend on the services promised and supplied.

A hunt properly delivered can end early because another eligible player found the prize, or end without a winner; neither alone is a cancellation. Send refund requests to the organiser for assessment under these rules and applicable law.

9. Privacy and complaints

Account, access, answer-attempt counts, correct-answer times and claim information are used to operate the hunts, verify eligibility and resolve disputes. Claim photos are private evidence. Promotional filming and use of a winner’s face or full name require separate permission; refusing optional publicity does not remove a valid win. Avoid including bystanders without permission. Read the SeekSweep privacy policy for service providers, retention and your choices.

For a disputed answer or find, email the hunt name, time and evidence promptly. SeekSweep will acknowledge complaints within two business days and aim to respond within ten business days. External complaint processes and legal rights remain available. Use the same contact to request access to or correction of personal information.

10. Your rights

Entrants must take reasonable care. SeekSweep remains responsible for obligations imposed by law. These rules do not exclude non-excludable liability, consumer guarantees or remedies, authorise restricted access, override land-manager conditions or establish that regulatory approval is unnecessary.

Version 4 · published 18 October 2026. This format requires a correct riddle answer followed by a physical find. Legal classification depends on the actual operation, including any element of chance; a riddle does not itself establish an exemption.
